At Hangwoous US LLC, we understand that waiting for your order can be frustrating. That is why we have built a shipping infrastructure designed to get your products to you as quickly, reliably, and affordably as possible. This Shipping Policy explains everything you need to know about how we handle shipping, including processing times, delivery estimates, costs, international shipping, and what to do if something goes wrong.

Order Processing Time
Order processing is the time between when you place your order and when we hand your package to the carrier. During this time, we pick your items from our inventory, inspect them for quality, pack them securely, and generate shipping labels.
Standard Processing
Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding major US federal holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day).
Orders placed after 2:00 PM Central Time may be processed on the next business day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
High-Volume Periods
During peak seasons (such as back-to-school season from July to September and the holiday season from November to December), processing times may extend to 3-5 business days due to order volume. We will post notices on our website if we anticipate significant delays.
Backordered Items
If an item you ordered is out of stock or backordered, we will notify you by email within 2 business days. You may choose to:

Wait for the backordered item to become available (estimated restock date provided when available)

Cancel the backordered item and receive a refund for that portion of your order

Cancel your entire order for a full refund
We will not hold your entire order for a single backordered item unless you specifically request that we do so.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
Shipping Carriers
For domestic shipments within the United States, we use a combination of carriers including USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier used for your order depends on the size and weight of your package, your shipping address, and the shipping method you select at checkout. We reserve the right to choose the most appropriate carrier for each shipment while honoring the delivery timeframe of your selected shipping method.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
The following delivery estimates apply after your order has been processed and handed to the carrier. Processing time is separate and must be added to these estimates.
Standard Shipping (3-7 business days)
Our most economical option, standard shipping is available for all orders regardless of size or weight. Delivery typically occurs within 3-7 business days after shipment, though delivery to remote or rural areas may take longer. Standard shipping does not include tracking updates after the package leaves our regional hub in some cases, though most packages are fully tracked.
Expedited Shipping (2-3 business days)
For customers who need their orders sooner, expedited shipping delivers within 2-3 business days after shipment. This option includes full tracking and may include Saturday delivery in some areas (additional fees may apply).
Priority Shipping (1-2 business days)
Our fastest domestic option, priority shipping delivers within 1-2 business days after shipment. This option includes full tracking, insurance coverage, and priority handling throughout the carrier’s network. Note that orders placed after the cutoff time on Thursday may not arrive until Monday due to weekend delivery limitations.
Free Shipping Offer
We offer free standard shipping on all domestic orders that meet or exceed our minimum purchase threshold. The current threshold is displayed on our website and may change from time to time. Free shipping applies only to standard shipping – expedited and priority shipping are available at an additional cost even for orders above the threshold.
If you return items that brought your order above the free shipping threshold, and the return reduces your order total below the threshold, we reserve the right to deduct the original shipping cost from your refund.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories
Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, and other US territories are subject to longer delivery times and higher shipping costs. Delivery estimates for standard shipping to these locations are typically 7-14 business days after shipment. Expedited and priority shipping options may not be available or may incur additional surcharges. The shipping cost calculator at checkout will reflect the actual cost for your location.
Shipping to PO Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses
We ship to PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses via USPS. Delivery times to APO/FPO addresses are significantly longer, often 2-4 weeks, due to military mail processing. Tracking may be limited or unavailable once the package enters the military postal system. We cannot guarantee delivery by specific dates for APO/FPO addresses.
Some larger or heavier items may not be eligible for PO box or APO/FPO delivery due to USPS size restrictions. If you attempt to ship an ineligible item to a PO box, we will contact you to arrange an alternative shipping address.
International Shipping

Hangwoous US LLC ships to many countries around the world. During checkout, you will be able to select your country from the shipping address dropdown menu. If your country is not listed, please contact us at ushangwoous@gmail.com – we may be able to accommodate your request on a case-by-case basis.
International Shipping Methods
For international orders, we offer:

Customs, Duties, and Taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and fees imposed by your country’s customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the customer, not Hangwoous US LLC. We have no control over these fees, cannot predict them with certainty, and cannot refund shipping or product costs if you refuse to pay them and your package is returned to us.
Important: The amount you pay at checkout on our website covers only the cost of the products and shipping. It does not include any customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees.
To avoid surprises, we recommend:

Providing your phone number and email address on the order to facilitate customs clearance
If you refuse to pay customs fees and your package is returned to us, we will refund the product cost minus a 20% restocking fee and minus our original shipping cost (which we cannot recover from the carrier). Return shipping costs are not refundable.
Delivery Times for International Orders
Delivery time estimates for international orders begin when the package leaves our facility. Actual delivery times vary significantly based on:

Please be patient with international deliveries. If your package has not arrived within 30 days of shipment, please contact us, and we will initiate a trace with the carrier.
International Shipping Restrictions
Some products may be restricted from international shipping due to size, weight, or material restrictions (such as certain inks or adhesives). If a product in your cart cannot be shipped to your country, you will be notified during checkout. Additionally, we comply with all US export control laws and will not ship to countries subject to US sanctions or embargoes.

Domestic Shipping Costs
Shipping costs for domestic orders are calculated at checkout based on:

Standard shipping rates typically range from 4.99to12.99 for most domestic orders. Expedited and priority rates are higher. Free standard shipping is available for orders above our minimum purchase threshold.
International Shipping Costs
International shipping costs vary widely by destination and package weight. Use the shipping calculator at checkout to see the exact cost for your order before completing your purchase. As a general reference, international standard shipping typically ranges from 15to45, with priority and express options costing more.
Additional Fees
We do not charge handling fees, fuel surcharges, or delivery area surcharges that are not already included in the carrier’s rates. However, some international destinations may incur remote area delivery surcharges, which will be reflected in the shipping cost displayed at checkout.
Order Tracking
How to Track Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

You can also track your order by logging into your account on our website and viewing your order history.
Tracking Status Not Updating
It is common for tracking information to show no updates for 24-48 hours after you receive the tracking number. This typically means the carrier has received the electronic shipment information but has not yet physically scanned the package. If tracking shows no updates for more than 3 business days after you received the shipping confirmation, please contact us.
International Tracking
Tracking for international standard shipments may be limited once the package leaves the United States. Some countries’ postal services do not provide detailed tracking for incoming international packages. International priority and express shipments typically include full tracking to delivery.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
Lost in Transit
If your package is lost in transit (confirmed by the carrier as lost), please contact us immediately. We will:

File a claim with the carrier on your behalf

Either reship your order (if the products are still available) or issue a full refund
Please note that carriers may require up to 14 business days to complete a lost package investigation before they will declare the package lost.
Stolen Packages
If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you cannot find it, please take the following steps:

Check with neighbors, family members, or building management who may have accepted the package

Look around your property – carriers sometimes leave packages in unusual locations

Contact the carrier to confirm the delivery location (they have GPS coordinates for the delivery scan)
If you still cannot find your package after these steps, please contact us. While we are not responsible for stolen packages after delivery confirmation, we will:

Verify the delivery status with the carrier

Provide any documentation you need for a police report or insurance claim

In some cases, offer a one-time courtesy discount on a replacement order
We strongly recommend having packages delivered to a secure location or using a delivery locker service if theft is a concern in your area.
Damaged Packages
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please:

Take photos of the damaged package before opening it

Open the package and document any damage to the products inside

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos
We will arrange for a replacement or refund as described in our Return and Refund Policy. Please do not discard the damaged items or packaging until we have had the opportunity to review your claim.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customer-Provided Incorrect Address
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. If you realize you made a typo or entered the wrong address, please contact us immediately. If your order has not yet been shipped, we can update the address at no charge.
If your order has already been shipped to the incorrect address you provided, we cannot reroute the package. You will need to contact the carrier to attempt delivery changes or arrange to retrieve the package from the incorrect address. We are not responsible for orders delivered to addresses provided by you, even if that address is incorrect.
Carrier Address Correction Fees
If the carrier corrects an address error (such as adding a missing apartment number or correcting a misspelled street name), and the correction results in additional fees, those fees will be passed on to you. We will contact you to arrange payment before releasing the package for delivery.
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by you, you will be responsible for:

The cost to reship the package to the correct address
We will contact you to arrange reshipment and payment of additional fees. If you do not respond within 30 days, we may cancel the order and refund the product cost minus original shipping and a 20% restocking fee.
Split Shipments
If you order multiple items, we may split your order into multiple shipments. This happens when items are stored in different fulfillment centers or when some items are backordered. You will receive separate shipping confirmation emails for each shipment. You will not be charged additional shipping costs for split shipments beyond the amount shown at checkout.
Shipping Insurance
We do not automatically add shipping insurance to orders. However, you may request insurance for high-value orders. Please contact us before placing your order to discuss insurance options and costs.
For orders where we are responsible for shipping due to our error, we use carriers that include basic insurance coverage (typically $100). For higher-value returns or exchanges, we may require additional insurance at our expense.
Holidays and Weather Delays
During major holidays and peak seasons, carriers may experience delays beyond our control. Additionally, severe weather events (hurricanes, blizzards, floods, etc.) can disrupt carrier operations and cause delivery delays. While we will do everything possible to get your order to you as quickly as possible, we cannot guarantee delivery dates during these periods.
We do not offer refunds or credits for shipping costs due to weather or carrier delays.
